AK SPORTS is drawing in aliens and humans from all over the galaxy to Downtown Los Angeles for Countdown NYE and dropped off a taste of what to expect at her high NRG set.
Hard, fast, and fun, it’s a mantra you can feel in your core when listening to AK SPORTS‘ back-to-back bangers. The Australia-born, LA/London-based force manages to praise the old while ringing in the new rave flavors with tracks like “Hellraiser,” “IN DA CLERB WE ALL FAM,” and the classic but still blood-pumping, “Beast.” AK SPORTS’ exhilarating mixes fuse hard techno, electro, breakbeat, trance, and more, keeping us up and dancing all while pushing boundaries that continue to contribute to her meteoric rise.
The dynamic techno artist and Club Madhouse label head has become a force to be reckoned with worldwide. Not only has AK SPORTS made appearances on multiple continents, notably taking the stage at EDC Korea, RESISTANCE London, Factory Town during Miami Music Week, and Boiler Room in Bangalore, but she’s continued to blast off on a rocket ship to the moon and beyond. Being dubbed one of the “20 of 2025” artists to watch by Tomorrowland‘s One World Radio, before the cutting-edge techno powerhouse rocked the decks at the festival in July, further fueled this ascent.
Now, AK SPORTS is ready to cap off the year with an Insomniac event that’s out of this world: Countdown NYE. To help get your space boots laced up for the otherworldly performance at this year’s alien invasion of the Los Angeles Convention Center, she dropped a mix that’s boiling over with hot tunes. Some new, some throwbacks, and of course, a few familiar faces, like Alison Wonderland, but more than enough bang to rev up your engines for lift-off toward 2026.
