Hotfire turns up the dial on the fall months by curating a mix that’s filled to the brim with quality grooves and an unreleased single as an added treat.
San Diego is teeming with talented artists in the scene, and Hotfire is one of those acts who continues to make his presence known. Over the years, he’s dropped some massive tracks on labels ranging from Night Bass and Confession to IN / ROTATION and MONTA while also taking the stage at festivals and nightclubs, keeping crowds moving and grooving along the way.
After ending 2024 with a bang by taking the stage at PROPER NYE/NYD‘s afters at Spin Nightclub, Hotfire continued to churn and burn behind the decks and in the studio throughout 2025. He returned to the beloved San Diego nightclub multiple times, including a performance on the Fourth of July in support of Manila Killa, and took a trip up the coast to Los Angeles to play Thiccfreqness Records and After Midnight’s collaborative underground event.
On the release front, Hotfire dropped a bumpin’ tune, “On My Mind,” which landed in June, and recently delivered “Danger” to the masses as a self-release to help bring the year to a close. Both feature his signature bass house grooves that infect the mind and make your feet move, and he’s indicated there’s even more to come next year.
To help keep the vibes as the days get colder, Hotfire spun a mix for the Fall Frequencies series that’ll ignite a fire in your shoes. This 30-minute ride features a hearty helping of tracks from the likes of Jey Vazz, Tuff Culture, and more, showcasing his dynamic range as he layers everything from bass house and UK Garage to deeper wubs throughout.
This mix is filled with tunes that I’ve been rinsing lately in my sets. The first is an unreleased track I’m hoping to put out soon. I hope you dig it!
