The eighth edition of ILLfest is stacked with standout performances from fan favorites like BOU, Excision, G Jones b2b Eprom, NGHTMRE, and Steller.

Austin is widely known for its eclectic music scene. In addition to hosting the iconic Austin City Limits festival each year, the Texas capital has become home to numerous homegrown dance music festivals. Returning for its eighth year, ILLfest takes over the Travis County Expo Center grounds on May 29-31 for another year of bass-booming shenanigans.

Beginning as ILLectric River in 2016, the Baylor University festival has since evolved into a large-scale street art and music gathering, booking some of the biggest names in bass music. This year’s lineup is nothing short of spectacular as the electronic event has pulled in major headliners like ATLIENS, Crankdat, Excision, LSDREAM, NGHTMRE, and GRiZ, the lattermost of whom has just returned from his hiatus.

Hosting a huge stage takeover, Kompass Music Group heads to Texas with some of its biggest names in tow. Featuring a back-to-back set from experimental bass legends G Jones and Eprom, as well as performances from Opiuo, Cool Customer, Curra, and Saka b2b FLY, the management company’s Austin invasion is destined for greatness.

Highlighting rising talent, ILLfest has booked a well-rounded undercard spanning multiple subgenres. Reaper holds it down for drum and bass fans, while Maddy O’Neal and Steller serve up funk-driven bass tunes. Get ready to headbang along to Big Florida and Hairitage before getting down to Jon Casey‘s trap beats. Additionally, HerShe‘s inventive blend of beatboxing and bass drops will leave the crowd in awe.

Adding to the excitement, the independently owned event is bringing in major special guests. With sets from JAUZ, Juelz, TVBOO, MitiS b2b Trivecta, and a stage headlining performance from BOU, ILLfest has dreamed up one of the best lineups of 2026.

Tickets for ILLfest 2026 start at $225 for GA, $265 for GA+, and $325 for VIP. To lock in your ticket at the lowest price, visit the ILLfest website.
