Soulection to Take over Club Space to Celebrate 15 Years of Global Influence

Los Angeles-based music collective Soulection is celebrating its 15th anniversary at Miami’s Club Space, with over 15 DJs across three rooms.

Soulection is turning 15, and the beloved brand is marking this milestone the only way that makes sense for a collective built on community, discovery, and genre-blurring sound: a marathon takeover of Club Space in Miami with more than 15 artists across three rooms.

What started as a small digital community in 2011 by artists Joe Kay, Guillame ’96’ Bonte, and Andre Power has since become one of the most influential movements in modern dance music culture. Soulection didn’t just popularize new music, but it served as an early amplifier for artists who went on to define an era. Names like Kaytranada, Snoh Aalegra, Daniel Caesar, and Brent Faiyaz all passed through the Soulection ecosystem long before topping charts and filling playlists.

Kickstarting at 11pm on January 23 into the early afternoon the following day, the celebration lands exactly on Soulection’s official birthday. It will transform Club Space into a three-room, 15-hour showcase featuring more than 15 DJs, all hand selected by the collective. And, of course, co-founder Joe Kay will take over the iconic Space Terrace for a set that longtime listeners will likely treat as coming-of-age moment.

Now, 15 years later, Soulection has evolved into a global movement spanning radio, releases, live events, and a cultural movement. Joe’s own growth mirrors that arc; his debut EP, If Not Now, Then When?, bridged R&B, soul, dub, and Afrobeat into a sound that feels unmistakably Soulection. The Club Space takeover is more than a birthday party. It’s a full-circle moment for a group that built its identity on breaking boundaries and connecting people through music.

With Club Space’s open-ended hours and cult status among dance music fans, the venue feels like the perfect place to honor a community that has always thrived after dark, and often into the morning. If this anniversary party reflects even a fraction of Soulection’s legacy, Miami is in for something special.

Grab your tickets now on Soulection’s website, and follow them on social platforms to stay in the loop on upcoming events and music.
