Relentless Beats has cited sustained rain, saturated grounds, and forecasted dangerous weather conditions as the reasons behind Better Together’s sudden cancellation.
The weather continues to play a major role in this year’s fall festival season. Multiple events across the country have faced delays, postponements, or outright cancellations due to poor or potentially dangerous conditions. This has continued into late November, as today, Relentless Beats announced that the upcoming edition of Better Together has been canceled.
While Better Together seemed to be moving forward as planned throughout the week, a post on social media just moments ago revealed that the festival will no longer take place. Relentless Beats said its team had been working around the clock in coordination with the City of Phoenix to make this weekend happen, but Mother Nature had other plans. The recent sustained rain that hit the region saturated the ground, causing issues with setting up infrastructure, while forecasted conditions, including flash floods and thunderstorms, threw an added wrench into the festival’s plans.
“Earlier today, City of Phoenix Officials advised us that the festival site at Steele Indian School Park cannot safely support continued load-in or public operations at this time,” the statement from Relentless Beats reads. “As a result of the city’s public and park safety assessment, Better Together Festival has been canceled and will return in November 2026.”
Those who purchased tickets for Better Together will receive instructions for refunds within 7 to 10 business days, so keep your eyes peeled for that email in your inbox.
We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we follow the city’s direction to ensure the safety of all attendees, staff, and partners. We look forward to celebrating the music, community, and magic we’ll create together when conditions allow.
