VELD Music Festival Shares Phase One of 2026 Mainstage Lineup

Billings like Mau P, FISHER, Illenium, and Armin van Buuren are helping VELD Music Festival start the conversation about next year’s event.

Those looking to attend VELD Music Festival must wait until July 31 – August 2, 2026, but that’s not stopping the Toronto gathering’s organizers from announcing headliners. They’ve just shared six of the acts slated to perform at Downsview Park on next year’s phase one mainstage lineup.

The most topical among them is undoubtedly Mau P, a tech house mainstay who started dominating festival lineups after the COVID pandemic drew to a close. Fans can look forward to hearing hits like “Drugs From Amsterdam” and “BEATS FOR THE UNDERGROUND” strung together in a way that only he can concoct.

The remainder of the VELD Music Festival 2026 phase one mainstage lineup consists of artists who broke through during previous dance music eras.

Catering to trance and progressive fans are Armin van Buuren and Above & Beyond, both of whom broke through around the turn of the millennium. The former artist runs the wildly successful A State Of Trance and Armada Music brands, and the latter trio own Anjunabeats as well as its manifold label imprints.

Also billed to perform at VELD Music Festival are deadmau5 and Kaskade under their Kx5 project. Their collaboration, “I Remember” — which came out in 2008 as each of their stars began to rise — clearly wasn’t enough. Under their new joint alias, the two artists have delivered crowd pleasers like “Escape” and “Bright Lights” in addition to performing together at festivals worldwide.

Finally, FISHER and Illenium round out the lineup, and they both grew famous at the tail end of the EDM explosion of 2010-2015. But while Illenium gained traction for his poppy fusion of future bass and melodic dubstep, FISHER is best known for releasing tech house anthems.

Tickets to VELD Music Festival 2026 go on sale Thursday, November 27 at 10am ET. Sign up for early access on the event website, and enter to win free tickets by following the directions on this Instagram post.
