Framework Postpones Mochakk’s Hollywood Blvd. Show Due to Incoming Weather

Los Angeles is gearing up for a wet weekend with an incoming storm on the horizon, leading Framework to postpone Mochakk’s Hollywood Boulevard takeover.

Mother Nature hasn’t been too kind to festivals and events around the country in recent weeks, and it seems that even the typically sunny Southern California has finally drawn her attention. Significant storm activity has been forecast for Los Angeles and other parts of the region, leading some promoters, like Framework, to cancel their upcoming outdoor shows.

Today, the Framework team took to social media to announce that Mochakk’s upcoming performance on Hollywood Boulevard will not take place as planned. “Due to increased storm activity moving into Los Angeles this weekend, and with the safety of our fans and team as our top priority, we’ve made the decision to postpone Mochakk on Hollywood Boulevard this Saturday, November 15,” Framework said in their post on Instagram.

All is not lost for those who yearned to catch the Brazilian house phenom in a unique setting, as Framework made it clear that this is a postponement, not a cancellation. The new date for this experience is now Saturday, December 13, and those who purchased passes for the sold-out affair will have their tickets honored. A waitlist has also opened up for those who didn’t purchase passes but might benefit from others who can’t make the rescheduled date. Beltran and Maz are anticipated to return to the lineup in support of Mochakk for this show.

This shift to December 13 will see the show pitted against other scheduled performances throughout Los Angeles, including Dimension at Naud St. Warehouse and Anfisa Letyago at Academy.

Mochakk isn’t the only artist to have had a show canceled this weekend in Los Angeles. Fast-rising bass trio Levity has been forced to cancel their Space Jam show, which was slated to take place on Saturday at Shrine LA Outdoors that same day. Stay tuned for other potential show cancellations due to this incoming storm.
