Breakaway Beach: Miami Art Week Lineup Announced

Zedd, Chris Lorenzo, and Kaleena Zanders, and others are on the bill for the debut of Breakaway Beach: Miami Art Week this December.

Will Breakaway Presents‘ conquest of the EDM festival circuit ever stop?! Last year, the nationwide event brand broke new ground in the Magic City with the first-ever Breakaway Beach: Miami. The gathering proved so successful that they’ve announced the lineup for its expansion, Breakaway Beach: Miami Art Week at 38th Street and Collins Avenue on the shore of South Beach on December 6.

The biggest name on the bill is that of Zedd, who needs no introduction among EDM fans. The Russian-German hitmaker broke through in the early years of the big room explosion for singles like “Spectrum” and “Clarity,” both of which appeared on his 2012 album that shared its name with the latter.

And while Chris Lorenzo may not command as large of a social media following, Breakaway was smart to leverage his one-of-a-kind draw. The British DJ and producer appeals to both old schoolers and house newcomers alike thanks to his high-energy performances and keen ear for music production.

Rounding out the lineup are acclaimed vocalist Kaleena Zanders, Austin underground artist Daniel Allan, Australian-born, Los Angeles-based house duo Night Tales, and Miami melodic house artist Benjamin Lloyd. Breakaway Beach: Miami Art Week looks to have something for everyone. With an event footprint on the sandy shorelne that calls to mind quintessential South Beach nights, Breakaway Presents clearly knows exactly what they’re doing.

Breakaway Music Festival first took place in Columbus in 2013 before expanding to locations like Phoenix, Minnesota, Michigan, Dallas, and Alabama. In August, the event brand launched Breakaway Presents as its concert division, announcing smaller gatherings in even more cities.

Tickets to the debut of Breakaway Beach: Miami Art Week start at $59.99 including fees. Purchase yours via Universe, and find more information on the Breakaway website.
