Skrillex, Four Tet, Scissor Sisters, and Faithless are among the artists set to perform at Boomtown Fair’s fifth chapter, dubbed “Radical Redesign.”
Boomtown Fair is a world unto itself. Down to the most granular details, it’s an alternate timeline whose inhabitants move to the palpitating rhythms of a wide variety of dance music. And ahead of the Winchester, UK festival’s fifth edition on August 12-16, 2026, organizers have announced its first-wave lineup.
Embodying the theme of “Radical Redesign,” Boomtown has billed superstars like US innovator Skrillex, UK mainstay Four Tet, heritage dance music act Faithless, and hard dance group Scooter. Pop rock band Scissor Sisters, ska group Madness, rapper-singer-songwriter Ashnikko, and hip-hop artists Shaggy and Eve add plenty of appeal for fans outside the electronic music sphere.
A potentially controversial headliner is Irish hip-hop trio Kneecap. After member Liam Óg Ó hAnnaid flew a Hezbollah flag during a gig, they were banned from entering Canada and Hungary in addition to being forced to cancel their 2025 US tour.
The Boomtown Fair 2026 lineup also includes its fair share of drum and bass, with artists like Camo & Krooked, Notion, and Wilkinson slated to perform. House and techno acts like 999999999, Groove Armada, and Marlon Hoffstadt help ensure that there’s something for everyone on the bill.
The fifth chapter of Boomtown’s “Radical Redesign” theme is a nod to how the festival plans to adapt its site to accommodate its continued growth. Among other things, organizers are adding a new district and finding creative ways to integrate nature into the festival footprint.
Tickets to Boomtown Fair go on sale tomorrow, October 30. Purchase yours and find additional information on the event website.
