Auris Presents, the promoters behind ARC Festival, will be hosting the inaugural edition of TRANSITIONS from December 26th – January 1st.
As the end of 2025 comes closer and we move forward into 2026, Chicago‘s Auris Presents isn’t ready to call it quits just yet. They’ve announced a gathering aptly named TRANSITIONS that promises to help you bring in the new year with a bang. The seven-day series running from December 26th – January 1st brings together over 70 artists for 29 different events across seven different venues in Chicago.
The settings are Radius, Cermak Hall, SERUM (PRYSM), Concord, Smoke & Mirrors, Spybar, and Outset, with each hosting their own, unique events. Solidifying 2025, the most important event of TRANSITIONS is the DAY ONE event on New Year’s Day, a 21-hour music marathon featuring artists like Adam Beyer, Derrick Carter, DJ Tennis, Kevin de Vries, Noizu, Kyle Watson, and Chasewest. Other artists playing over the seven days include Four Tet, Dylan Brady, Chloé Caillet, Floorplan, Claude VonStroke, Ben Klock, Kobosil, Maceo Plex, and Purple Disco Machine.
The concept for TRANSITIONS comes from the 2002 classic Underground Resistance track titled “Transition.” The event series’ theme represents different states of matter: solid, liquid, and vapor. Each venue and each night will represent a different phase of that transformation.
Celebrating the fifth anniversary of ARC Music Festival, Auris Presents has had a busy 2025 between them producing over 500 shows in and around Chicago and ARC ranking 36th in DJ Mag‘s 2025 “Top 100 Festivals” list. Taking place in the heart of the Windy City, TRANSITIONS will offer a unique way to look to the future.
Tickets for TRANSITIONS are currently available on the Auris Presents website. You can buy the Quantum Pass via AXS, giving you access to all events, expedited entry, VIP access to certain areas, and ins and outs for all venues.
