Eutopia Warehouse is a new indoor-outdoor venue in East London with a capacity of 4,000 that will officially open on Halloween.
Experiencing the London dance music scene feels like a rite of passage. From premium event spaces like Printworks and fabric to Corsica Studios and Ministry of Sound, devotees are either born into the nocturnal beauty of the United Kingdom’s capital or travel from countries away to be immersed in it.
In addition to the city’s hot venue agenda is Eutopia Warehouse, a new 4,000-person-capacity indoor-outdoor venue interlinked between three warehouses and an open-air courtyard, opens in East London this Halloween. Its kick-off party, the HOWLOWEEN Queer Rave, is set to feature eight collectives and 11 DJs across three of its rooms, spanning 12 hours of straight music.
The new venue was made possible by four powerhouses in the industry: Michael Hughes, founder of landmark events like Garage City, Back to 95 and Groove Odyssey; Nikki Gordon, co-founder of We Are FSTVL and former Head of Ministry of Sound; Will Paterson, veteran promoter behind over 20 festivals and 11 London venues; and Tom Ranger, acclaimed curator and programmer behind Dreamland Margate, Oval Space, Annabel’s, Percolate Live, and Live Nation’s Soundcrash division.
The launch brings together a musical spectrum spanning across minimal, house, bass, Afro, amapiano, and beyond. It’s like a love letter to the global sound palette driving UK nightlife today. Some of the scene’s most respected tastemakers, such as 51st State Festival and Appetite, to crews who helped shape the country’s rave roots like Back to 95, World Dance, Breakin Science, and Zulu Nation, are partnering with the new arts and cultural hub to bring experiences that connect generations and communities on the dancefloor. They’re also joining forces with modern dance shakers Sankeys, HOWL, Dance on Arrival, and Space Ibiza.
For such an intentionally curated program, one needs a special place to bring it to life. After spending £1.5 million to reconstruct a former industrial site, Eutopia Warehouse offers four large-scale arenas: three warehouses and one open-air courtyard. All in one place to serve live shows, club events, festivals, exhibitions, and local community events in East London.
Now, the question is: what do those three warehouses and the open-air courtyard offer beyond a stacked program? What can 4,000 attendees expect when visiting Eutopia Warehouse for an event? Let’s break it down:
The Yard
The Yard is a 1,700-capacity open-air playground that sits right by the river with full staging, a bespoke pergola installation, raised dance platforms, and elevated viewing areas designed for intimacy and impact. Lined with seasonal foliage, art installations, and street food traders, this space brings a festival-scale atmosphere for exploring, eating, dancing, and getting lost inside.
WHS 1
WHS 1 is an 800-capacity tunnel-like room inspired by the golden age of New York club culture and London’s underground heritage. This space features precision-tuned d&b Audiotechnik sound, raised dance platforms, and specialized lighting, making it feel like the heartbeat of Eutopia.
WHS 2
Including both 360° and end-stage formats, WHS 2 is a 1,200-capacity space designed for larger experiences such as club nights, live concerts, brand launches, and large-scale cultural events.
WHS 3
Noted as the most intimate and design-led of the warehouse trio, WHS 3 will host exhibitions, social gatherings, and curated performances, with a capacity of 800—and that’s not its final form. This warehouse will evolve into a cocktail bar and listening space, hosting listening sessions, label launches, and other community-focused gatherings.
