Boys Noize, Bob Moses, Justin Martin, Polo & Pan, Mikey Lion, Stylust, Doc Martin, and more will join Gary Richards on board Friendship as it embarks on its final sailing this January.

Friendship has long been a destination for many in the dance music scene seeking a unique, community-first experience on the high seas. From the intimate crowds to the highly curated lineups, each passing edition has brought forth countless memories for Shipfam who have joined Gary Richards, aka Destructo, along for the ride. Past years have seen Friendship chug forward with remarkable sailings, but this year’s announcement has left many somber, as it was announced to be The Final Transmission.

Those who have yearned to experience all that Friendship has to offer will be able to get what seems to be their last chance on January 18-22, when Shipfam comes together once again on the Norwegian Joy for a trip to Great Stirrup Caye in the Bahamas for one last dance at sea. Today, the initial artists providing the soundtrack were revealed, and if there’s one takeaway from the list, it’s that they’re staying true to their roots by bringing some fantastic acts.

Artists who stick out immediately on the Friendship lineup include Boys Noize, Polo & Pan, Bob Moses, Justin Martin, Stylust, Doorly, Gaslamp Killer, Ardalan, Marques Wyatt, and Mz Worthy. Others who are sure to bring the heat with their sets range from Mary Droppinz and Mikey Lion to Sam Binga and LYNY. Not to mention that legends like Craze and Mr Koolaid will also be on board, along with Friendship’s fearless leader, Gary Richards, who will perform under his own name and Destructo project.

Every time we’ve set sail, something magical has happened. Not just in the music, but in the way this family comes alive when out at sea. We’ve turned a ship into our own floating oasis at sea year in and year out… a place where time has blurred, love has been found (and lost), and the impossible has felt real every time. The Final Transmission doesn’t mark the end; it’s a signal, a pulse, a moment for us to come together one more time at sea before we vanish into the stars with our Alien Friends and see where the universe takes us next.

Friendship Team

The music is just one portion of what makes Friendship magical. This floating festival has historically featured artist-led activities and other non-musical programming, including shows like Dita Von Teese’s Ship Teese burlesque show. Stay tuned for more artists and additional details to be announced.

Will you be joining Gary Richards and the rest of Shipfam for the final sailing of Friendship? A variety of different cabin types are available for the 2026 sailing. Head to the official website for more details on the different cabins and pricing, and to book your trip!
