WonkyWilla is giving everyone a chance to give back at the upcoming edition of Wonksgiving, taking place at Vulcan Gas Company in Austin in November.
As we plunge into fall, the season of giving is fast approaching, and dubstep artist WonkyWilla is offering the perfect mix of giving back and getting down, wrapped up in a nice bow. Wonksgiving is making its return on Wednesday, November 26, at Vulcan Gas Company in Austin, Texas.
With a sound that combines wobbly bass drops, vivid imagination, and textured sonic rhythms, the Florida DJ has emerged as a force on the bass scene over the last two years. With tracks like “Orgasmic” and “WOOK DANCER” quickly gaining momentum after their release, WonkyWilla has managed to transport millions into the fantastical mind of Wonkamania.
Out of that mind came the vision for Wonksgiving, a one-day musical experience that encapsulates the sweet spirit of giving back with the savory taste of WonkyWilla’s imaginative sets, accompanied by Montycler in support. In collaboration with Texas CASA, this event offers a unique opportunity to help improve the lives of children and families across the state by simply stepping into the fantastical world of WonkyWilla for the day.
Wonksgiving was inspired by the idea of bringing people together around music, the same way families gather around the table for the holidays. I wanted to create a show that feels like both a celebration and a homecoming for the community.

Texas CASA is dedicated to creating communities where all children and families can thrive safely. The statewide network has a host of programs working toward accomplishing that goal. Every ticket holder will play a small part in contributing to Texas CASA’s success. For every ticket sold, $2 will be donated directly to Texas CASA. WonkyWilla is also putting up $3,000 on top of those efforts.
Wonksgiving attendees are encouraged to bring food and clothing items for a donation drive. All contributions will benefit local families. In WonkyWilla’s world, giving back can lead to more opportunities to wub out. Donors will be entered to win a signed merchandise package and two tickets to ILLfest next year.
Beyond the music, we are tying it to charitable initiatives because giving back is at the heart of what this season represents. My hope is that everyone leaves feeling connected, uplifted, and part of something bigger than themselves.
