The great state of Texas has become known for bringing forth some of the most unique events in the scene, and one that continues to deliver jam-packed lineups year in and year out is Seismic Dance Event. This festival from RealMusic Events has turned heads while bringing some of the best and brightest in the house and techno scene to Austin each year, and the initial 8.0 lineup was filled to the brim with talent. Now, they’ve added even more power to their punch with the second phase that’s teeming with even more top-tier names.
If you weren’t already enticed to attend Seismic Dance Event 8.0 when the festival announced that Charlotte De Witte, Duke Dumont, Eli Brown, Four Tet, Lane 8, Gorgon City, Mochakk, Underworld, Elderbrook, and more were slated to play, you’ll definitely consider it now. Joining the already stacked lineup are a hearty helping of DJs who will help make this the most earth-shaking edition yet, such as Adam Beyer, ANNA, Ben Sterling, The Blessed Madonna, Simon Doty, Giorgia Angiuli, Chloé Robinson, and Swimming Paul.
Other artists who will take the stage at The Concourse Project over the course of the weekend include house hero Dombresky, the ever-dynamic duo DJ Heartstring, genre-fluid artist Funk Tribu, and KLOUD, who will bring his dark, brooding sound with him. A number of fast-rising stars in the scene, like Daniel Allan, Linska, southstar, Estella Boersma, Murphy’s Law, LSDXOXO, and Ugo Banchi, have also been booked.
These artists join the impressive lineup of performers who will take the stage at the festival’s three stages. While the Volcano and Tsunami stages feature house and techno, the Frequency stage will showcase forward-thinking artists who play hard groove, UKG, and more. Regional acts will be announced closer to the festival.
