This year marked a major milestone for Insomniac and its flagship Electric Daisy Carnival experience as the festival made its stunning debut in a new country in Asia, Thailand. The inaugural edition of EDC Thailand, which took place in January, was a monumental weekend filled with plenty of amazing sets, top-tier production, and more. Now, Insomniac and regional partner Future Vibes are planning to bring it back to Phuket for round two and have just dropped off a fantastic lineup to stir up even more hype.
The second edition of EDC Thailand is slated to take place on January 16-18 at a new venue, Rhythm Park, and the list of artists performing will certainly turn heads. Immediate standouts include legends in the scene such as deadmau5, Zedd, Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, AFROJACK, Goldie, Chase & Status, Axwell b2b Sebastian Ingrosso, and Angerfist, but that’s just a small taste of what’s in store.
House and techno lovers won’t want to sleep on the performances from artists like Eli Brown, VTSS, Dombresky, DJ Tennis, KI/KI, Lilly Palmer, Sara Landry, Beltran, MPH, and Argy. Drum and bass aficionados will be able to get a dose of action from the likes of Sub Focus, Wilkinson, and Hedex, while those who want a touch more heaviness can catch other acts such as GRiZ, Tape B, Seven Lions, Jessica Audiffred, and Levity.
Additionally, there’s a hearty helping of hard dance with Brennen Heart, Sub Zero Project, Sound Rush, and Vertile all slated to perform, while trance family members can get their fix from Key4050, Gareth Emery, and more. And there’s no doubt that rising phenoms such as Knock2, Cole Knight, salute, and more will keep your attention with their dynamic soundscapes.
