Illenium did not opt for the subtle route when he advertised his upcoming Sphere show on the venue’s exterior LED display.
Illenium‘s turn to play at the Sphere is coming up. After Anyma showed what was possible for electronic music events hosted at the immersive Las Vegas venue and Insomniac and Tomorrowland partnered for the first time on an event there, the US DJ and producer has announced a project of his own called ODYSSEY.
For now, though, that’s the extent of the details available on the gathering. It came to light via a display on the exterior LED display of the venue itself, where Nicholas Miller‘s world-famous artist alias sat above the event name with visual effects swirling in the background. No dates, supporting acts, or ticket information are public knowledge at the time of writing.
Miller released his debut self-titled EP as Illenium in 2013, quickly eking out a niche for his melodic yet exhilarating style of EDM. He released his first-ever studio-length album in 2016, and the same year, his remix of “Don’t Let Me Down” by The Chainsmokers garnered an unprecedented 60 million SoundCloud streams.
In 2019, Miller’s already respectable career ascended a new summit as he landed a headline show at Madison Square Garden in New York City. This would set into motion a spate of noteworthy gatherings for the world-famous artist. These include his beachside Ember Shores festivals and his 2023 Trilogy gathering in Denver, the latter of which broke the record for most attendance at a single-headliner concert.
Illenium has yet to formally announce his Odyssey event at the Sphere. Follow along on his social media channels to get additional information as it becomes available.
