Taking place across three days for the first time in its history, Deep Tropics has moved its dates to fall on Labor Day in 2026.
Now that a couple of weeks have passed since this year’s sold-out edition of Deep Tropics, organizers are putting the word out about next year’s milestone event. The next installment of the festival at Bicentennial Park in Nashville will take place from September 4-6, 2026, meaning that it now coincides with Labor Day Weekend and runs three days instead of two.
At the time of writing, no lineup details have been announced for Deep Tropics 2026. Ahead of the 2025 edition, lineup announcements started in April, and the full slate of headliners had been rounded out by the end of June.
Artists who played this year included Chris Lake, Liquid Stranger, Alison Wonderland, Ash Lauryn, and Maddy O’Neal. Deep Tropics also bills an impressive number of talks, workshops, and wellness activities, the majority of which were shared in the weeks leading up to the event.
Deep Tropics debuted in 2017, initially as a free event with a mission to bring artists from across the globe to the Music City. It has been dubbed the greenest festival in North America, with the 2024 event achieving a diversion rate (meaning the ratio of waste diverted from landfills or incineration via recycling) of 87%. This year, festival organizers distributed packets of wildflower seeds in place of traditional event flyers.
On Friday, September 5, a loyalty sale is launching that will give all previous ticket holders one week of exclusive access before the general on-sale starts. Find more information on the Deep Tropics website.
