Henry Fong, Joyryde, Manila Killa, Ookay, Julienne By, and DJ Reza are slated to play The Love Festival when it returns to Los Angeles this fall.
Turn back the clock to the early years of the rave scene, and you’ll find a large swath of massives that were taking place throughout Southern California. While most of those events ended up being one-offs, a few, such as The Love Festival, became tried-and-true experiences that the community rallied behind. Now, after the brand sat on hiatus for years, Insomniac has breathed new life into it with an upcoming edition set to take place at the Hollywood Palladium on October 4.
The upcoming edition of The Love Festival in Los Angeles will feature a flurry of fantastic performances. Henry Fong, Joyryde, Manila Killa, and Ookay will bring their dynamic, bass-fueled soundscapes along with them that night. Additionally, Twitch streamer and DJ Julienne By and the festival’s founder, DJ Reza, will also perform that night.
“I hear Insomniac and GOVentures have a long history of events together as one in America,” DJ Reza said in a comment on Instagram post that announced The Love Festival’s return. “Well, here is a GOVentures brand that, thanks to Insomniac and Pasquale Rotella, is coming back to Los Angeles, the city where it all started in 1992.”
Originally produced by GOVentures, The Love Festival was first hosted in 1992 in Los Angeles and has since been held in various cities throughout California, Colorado, Arizona, Hawaii, Mexico, and more. This festival was one of the promoter’s flagships alongside Monster Massive and Together As One, the latter of which was co-produced by Insomniac for many years and has since been brought to Seattle in 2023 and 2024.
The presale for The Love Festival at Hollywood Palladium kicks off on Wednesday, August 27 at 10am PT. The general sale will then begin on Thursday, August 28 at 10am PT. Head to Hive to sign up for presale access.
