Breakaway Music Festival is promoting events in cities like Salt Lake City, Columbus, and Pittsburgh as Breakaway Presents.
Festivals from the East Coast to the West weren’t enough for Breakaway Music Festival. The event brand simply couldn’t help but add another dimension to its ambitious global conquest. It has now announced Breakaway Presents, a branch of its operation dedicated to smaller-scale concerts and club nights.
But true to the Breakaway brand, these gatherings are slated to take place in locations throughout the continental US. They include headline shows featuring Ship Wrek in cities like Raleigh, Charleston, and Columbus; artists like Rusko, Gorgon City, Dillon Francis, and Paul Van Dyk in Salt Lake City; and Eliminate and Tape B in Pittsburgh.
“Introducing Breakaway Presents, our concerts & events division so your Breakaway experience doesn’t end after the festival,” reads the announcement post shared across social media channels. “Bringing your favorite artists to more shows & more cities all year long.”
To their point, expanding into single-day, single-stage events is a smart move as it allows Breakaway to hedge its potential losses on large-scale gatherings. Festivals are a gamble in the post-COVID economy, making it as good a time as any for their organizers to diversify their product offerings.
The first iteration of Breakaway Music Festival took place in Columbus in 2013. In the years since, it has expanded to host events in a jaw-dropping list of locations, including Michigan, Minnesota, Dallas, Phoenix, Florida, and Alabama.
Tickets and additional information for all events under both the Breakaway Music Festival and Breakaway Presents banners can be found on the official Breakaway website.
