Neon Owl Records has officially launched with the release of Hidden Axis and WISNER’s collaborative single, “Fallen Angel.”

Sibling duo Elaine and Raymond Huang set off on a mission to make a mark on the dance music scene by launching Neon Owl over a decade ago, and haven’t looked back since. During this time, they’ve hosted numerous Open Door Sessions events in the US and Europe, while continuing to provide insight and assistance to artists and industry members looking to grow their careers. Now, they’ve taken their next step forward with the launch of Neon Owl Records.

Elaine Huang teased that a label was on the horizon when she sat down with EDM Identity earlier this summer. “I didn’t picture this early on, but it seems like the fitting next step for our community,” she shared. “We have the first few tracks locked in already, but we’re always seeking more talent.” That built up to this week, when it was revealed that Hidden Axis and WISNER’s “Fallen Angel” would be the debut release on the imprint.

Hidden Axis being part of the label’s launch is a full-circle moment for the blossoming artist. She initially joined the Neon Owl family during one of the virtual Open Door Sessions and has since gone on to elevate her career with appearances during Elephante’s tour and on labels like Ophelia Records. “I remember introducing her as the artist who will ‘headline EDC one day,’ which is not something I’ve said before,” Elaine said about Hidden Axis. “She never knew why I had such conviction behind what I said or why I believed in her so early, but I do feel that I have an eye and an ear for these things.”

On the other end of the track is WISNER, a singer-songwriter who has carved out space for himself through collaborations with artists like Kaivon, Sully, Vanic, Slippy, and more. His versatile voice lends well to the bass-fueled track, making its soundscape one that will leave a lasting impression on listeners well after its final seconds tick away.

This is just the first release of many for Neon Owl Records, as they have plans to release even more in the coming months. Upcoming releases are slated to feature artists who have either grown with the brand or were discovered through their Open Door Sessions events. Stay tuned!
