Legendary Czech drum and bass festival Let It Roll is throwing a two-day event in Puerto Rico for the first time ever on December 5-6.
While drum and bass has been represented on North American club and festival lineups more and more every year, this side of the hemisphere has yet to get its own exclusive drum and bass festival. American DnB heads looking to immerse themselves in a world of pure drum and bass need to venture to Europe and attend festivals like Liquicity, Boomtown, or Let It Roll.
But the lattermost event brand is changing that this year. It’s bringing its own festival across the Atlantic for the first time ever for a highly anticipated debut in Puerto Rico.
Dubbed the world’s leading drum and bass festival, the flagship Let It Roll festival based in the Czech Republic lives up to its reputation. Starting in 2002 as small raves in Prague’s underground scene, it has since evolved into one of the most reputable drum and bass festivals, drawing thousands of DnB heads from all around the world each year. In addition to its annual summer Czech edition, it puts on an indoor Let It Roll Winter festival in Prague in February, and has brought its Let It Roll On Tour series to cities across Europe, including stops in places like Bristol, Ostrava, and Estonia.
Now, Let It Roll is coming to Bayamón, Puerto Rico for the first time ever on December 5-6. The festival will take place at the Parque de las Ciencias, an innovative science park that makes for a perfect location to match the festival’s post-apocalyptic sci-fi branding. It will feature over 50 artists across three stages —one of which will be outside while the other two will be inside a planetarium with overhead projection.
Today’s announcement is just the first of many to come. Be sure to follow Let It Roll on Instagram to find out right away when tickets go on sale, the lineup is announced, and any other updates are shared for this inaugural edition.
