Discovery Project has partnered with Cosmic Academy to support the next generation of rising stars throughout the remainder of 2025.

Insomniac‘s Discovery Project has supported smaller artists looking to make their break in the scene for years. The brand’s annual contests surrounding festivals have given lucky winners the chance to take the stage while also opening the doors for releases on the conjoined label. This year saw Discovery Project take another leap forward by partnering with ICON Collective, but after the school suddenly shuttered its doors, Cosmic Academy has stepped in to fill the void.

Today, Insomniac and Cosmic Academy announced that they will officially be collaborating on upcoming Discovery Project contests surrounding festivals through the end of 2025. Winners will be awarded a customized artist development program that’s tailored to their needs. These courses will provide artists with the essential knowledge needed to jumpstart their careers by offering a supportive environment surrounded by like-minded creatives.

Cosmic Academy launched its artist development program in 2012, intending to provide personalized programs for aspiring DJs and producers seeking to make their breakthroughs in the scene. Over 950 artists have participated in their two-phase mentoring program, which includes music development to achieve professional-quality sound, as well as educational resources and tools to enhance their brand and expand their network.

Alumni who have seen success include Nostalgix, Bexxie, Charles D, AK RENNY, Calussa, Sober Rob, Taylor Torrence, Miyuki, and Ares Carter, among others. These artists have played major festivals including Electric Daisy Carnival, Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, and more, while signing deals with a growing number of labels ranging from Defected and Armada Music to Monstercat and Spinnin’.

This new partnership between Discovery Project and Cosmic Academy will help further both brands’ missions of elevating the next generation of artists. Check out the full statement below and stay tuned for more details on the contests surrounding upcoming festivals by following their social media channels.
