Insomniac has just announced Insomniac Rockies, the company’s latest division, which will be centered on shows in Colorado and Utah.
While Southern California might be home to Insomniac, the behemoth brand has continued to expand throughout the US and to international destinations over the past three decades. This year alone has seen the news about the upcoming debut of EDC Colombia, a takeover of Sphere in Las Vegas by Tomorrowland, the emergence of Insomniac Arizona, and more. Today, they’ve announced the latest division, Insomniac Rockies.
Insomniac Rockies will encompass all upcoming shows hosted in the Rocky Mountains region of the US, which encompasses Colorado and Utah. Upcoming events in Denver will feature Sara Landry, Infected Mushroom, Carl Cox, OG Nixin and Benda, GorillaT, Brutalismus 3000, Laszewo, and Cyclops. It also includes the Day Trip On The Rooftop series at Vinyl, which will bring artists like Ranger Trucco, Biscits, TOKiMONSTA, GENESI, Devault, East End Dubs, Deeper Purpose, and more to the Mile High City.
Details on upcoming shows in Utah have still yet to be revealed. A non-exhaustive list of venues that will host Insomniac Rockies shows include Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Summit, Marquis, Fillmore Auditorium, The JunkYard, and a variety of clubs.
This is a natural step forward for Insomniac as the brand has had its eye on the region for well over a decade. Past experiences that hit Denver included editions of Electric Daisy Carnival from 2008 to 2011, as well as the Valentine’s Day-themed Crush and multiple standalone shows at Red Rocks.
Utah was a focus earlier this year with the High Altitude event series in Park City, which featured artists such as RL Grime, Kaskade, Wooli, Illenium, Dimension, and more on stage.
