1001Tracklists expands to the label side of the spectrum by teaming up with Tomorrowland Music to launch its new imprint, 1001 Recordings.
The past two decades have seen Tomorrowland grow to new heights with its premier festival experiences, while 1001Tracklists has been a force to be reckoned with in its own right as a platform that helps everyone find their favorite moments from sets. More recently, labels have been the name of the game with Tomorrowland Music becoming a place-to-be for solid releases in the dance music scene, and 1001Tracklists is now throwing their hat in the ring with 1001 Recordings.
This new imprint comes as a collaboration between 1001Tracklists and Tomorrowland Music, a match made in heaven for many in the dance music scene. 1001 Recordings was launched with the dancefloor at its heart and aims to elevate a new generation of global talent, fostering a brighter future for the scene. The label will be fueled by 1001Tracklists’ data-driven insights and the global acclaim that Tomorrowland Music brings, making it a perfect home for established artists and rising stars alike.
The first few releases slated to land on 1001 Recordings are collaborations that will surely turn heads. The label’s debut single, “Take Me There,” is due out on July 11 and features a collaboration with Sick Individuals, Matisse & Sadko, and Third Party, promising a sensational ride. The following week will see Dillon Francis and MARTEN HØRGER join forces for the collaborative B2U EP that will bring bass house to the forefront. These artists will also take the stage together during Tomorrowland Belgium later this summer.
For years, we’ve kept our finger on the pulse of dance music, and the launch of 1001 Recordings was a natural step to give a bigger spotlight to the artists and music our community already believes in and champions. We’re proud to have Tomorrowland Music as a partner in this journey – it’s the perfect representation of the collaborative energy we want to celebrate.
