Verknipt ArenA's Upcoming Edition Will Be Its Last

Verknipt announced that this will be the final edition of Verknipt ArenA, but plans to go out with a bang by hosting the largest laser show in history.

Dutch techno brand Verknipt has been a force to be reckoned with in the scene for over a decade. Not only have they hosted standout shows in the Netherlands, but they’ve also expanded to bring editions to other reaches of the globe while fostering fresh sounds on their label, which was launched in 2024. Last year also saw the emergence of Verknipt ArenA, the world’s largest hard techno rave, which tantalized 40,000 attendees with stunning performances and jaw-dropping production—but while it’s set to return for round two on July 19, this edition will be its last.

Today, Verknipt took to social media to announce that this year’s edition of Verknipt ArenA would be the final one to take place at Johan Cruijff ArenA. “Unfortunately, this will also be the last edition at this unique venue,” they said in the video. “The calendar of the Johan Cruijff ArenA is packed, and space needs to be made for other concerts on that date. Even though we’re obviously sad about that, our whole team is already working hard to bring a new large-scale concept in 2026, but at a different location.”

The upcoming edition of Verknipt ArenA will cap off the short-lived run with a legendary experience that will feature a 360° stage design and an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for biggest laser show ever, with over 1,000 lasers. The one-night affair is set to feature performances from some of the best artists in hard techno, including solo sets from Nico Moreno and Winson, along with back-to-back sets featuring Basswell and ONLYNUMBERS, Carv and Holy Priest, Dyen and Fantasm, and more.

Although Verknipt might be saying goodbye to its ArenA edition after this year, there are plenty of other standout experiences from the brand across the globe to check out. This includes two shows in Berlin this month, along with other standalone shows in cities such as Zurich, Oberhausen, Bloemendaal, Zaanadam, Amsterdam, Vienna, and more.
