Following his latest release, SYNDICATE VA 1, Anoy delivers a hypnotic guest mix for Paradigm Shift, spanning the dark depths of techno music.
Serbian artist Anoy has been enamored with techno music for over ten years. His passion is rooted in a vivid experience catching a performance by one of the pioneers of the sound, Jeff Mills. After seeing the iconic artist, Anoy knew that he was meant to do more within the scene, which led him to buy DJ equipment and begin tinkering with music production.
Anoy has explored the darkest depths of techno music through elements like pulsating rhythms, hypnotic melodies, and pounding basslines. Since the start of the project, his mission has been to prioritize the authenticity of the underground scene without sacrificing art for commercialization. So far, Anoy has been able to spread his sound through label releases on Sanity, Secret Recordings, and most recently, KKULA.
His latest release, “Ethereal Body,” perfectly encapsulates his style, introducing listeners to his unique world. Looking to keep the momentum going, Anoy stopped by to drop his debut guest mix on our Paradigm Shift series.
Anoy keeps the party going with raw, unfiltered energy for nearly one hour through banging beats and unmatched energy. And while the Paradigm Shift series is usually focused on harder music, Anoy brings a different take on the harder styles, proving that it’s okay to slow down sometimes while building to the harder, faster music.
That’s not all, either. Anoy has plenty of plans for the rest of 2025 as “fans can expect new releases and mixes, along with a fresh evolution of my sound,” he told EDM Identity. “Over the past few months, I’ve been experimenting a lot — diving deep into sound design and focusing on improving the overall quality of my production. I’m really excited to share the results of that work through my upcoming EPs.” If all goes to plan, Anoy also plans to level up his project by organizing events to connect with others directly and powerfully.
I’d love for more people to discover the beauty and depth of this underground sound, while still preserving its authenticity and resisting excessive commercialization. In Serbia, the techno scene has always been strong, especially considering the country’s size. I hope it continues to thrive, and one of my personal goals is to eventually start organizing my own events. Being able to share my energy and artistic vision with the people of my country would truly be a dream come true.
