DJ Snake, RL Grime to Headline Discovery Meadow in San Jose

DJ Snake, RL Grime, TroyBoi, Dr. Fresch, Habstrakt, What So Not, and more are set to perform at the debut edition of Discovery Meadow in August.

Fall announcements might have begun to roll in, but plenty of summer fun remains to be revealed. That’s precisely what Insomniac, The Midway, and Non Plus Ultra delivered today by dropping off the lineup for the debut edition of Discovery Meadow. This two-day experience is set to take place at the spacious venue that bears the same name next to the Children’s Discovery Museum of San Jose, and will offer plenty of booming beats during its debut edition on August 29-30.

Headlining Discovery Meadow are two of the biggest names in the scene today, DJ Snake and RL Grime. These two legends will bring their iconic tracks to the stage and are sure to ignite the evening hours, but this mostly-day-time affair features plenty of other talented artists who are sure to captivate crowds.

Friday offers a dynamic range of styles, including the trap sounds of TroyBoi, the bass house vibes of Habstrakt, and the tech house grooves of DJ Susan. Dream Takers and Cat Liu will play in support to kick off the party with opening sets. Meanwhile, Saturday packs its own punch with performances from house maestro Dr. Fresch, bass icon What So Not, dubstep phenom Canabliss, and opening sets from All The Reason and Catalyst.

Little else is known about this newly announced event, but with the minds from Insomniac, The Midway, and Non Plus Ultra working together, it’s sure to be a fantastic weekend in San Jose. Discovery Meadow Park has previously hosted performances from artists like Gordo and is also announced to be the home for Deorro’s upcoming show in San Jose this September.
