Linney Kicks Off Her Summer Run with a Euphoric Mix

Linney is riding a wave of success into the summer months, and she dropped off a euphoric, story-driven mix showcasing her past, present, and future.

If you haven’t been paying attention to the music that Linney‘s been creating, you’ve been missing out. This phenom has channeled her abilities as a DJ, producer, and singer-songwriter to create soundscapes that have left listeners breathless and crowds grooving on the dancefloor deep into the night. Linney’s journey began over a decade ago, releasing memorable solo singles and collaborations with artists like Gareth Emery, Tritonal, Le Youth, SCRIPT, J. Worra, and more during that time. Yet 2025 is shaping up to be one of the best years for this fantastic artist so far.

This year has already been filled with some huge victories for Linney. On the release front, she kicked off the year in style by teaming up with Layton Giordani and Sarah de Warren on hit track “Act of God,” while also releasing “In The End” with MitiS, Amidy, and Crystal Skies, “Opposites” with Vicetone, and “You Belong” with Markus Schulz and Tim Clark. Last month brought forth her work with Champagne Drip on Story Arcs, while June has brought forth her fantastic solo single, “The Crown,” front and center.

“The Crown” draws inspiration from a tarot card reading in which Linney pulled The Tower, a card that symbolizes destruction for the sake of rebirth. Fittingly, it also marks the first of two new chapters in Linney’s story this year, doubling as the launch of her imprint, Siren Records, which will be a new home for her music. The second chapter arrived recently too, as she was announced as one of the residents on the newly relaunched Insomniac Radio with a daily show at 1pm PT.

Those yearning to catch Linney perform will be able to do so across the US this summer. She has a set at PHD Rooftop in New York on June 28, along with appearances at Dim Mak’s Level 8 Pool Party and Exchange in Los Angeles, Soundcheck in Washington DC, PARQ in San Diego, and E11EVEN in Miami in the coming months. But before that, she’s dropped off a mix to kick off our Summer Sessions series to give everyone a taste of what’s in store.

Excited to share a blend of past, present and upcoming projects. The vibe is euphoric and leans heavily on the storytelling. Personally, I believe dance music doesn’t have to be hollow. It can have heart. It can carry the weight of a story and still set you free on the dancefloor. That’s the kind of world I want to create.
