Six Underrated Artists to Catch at Day Trip Festival 2025

Londen Summers
Londen Summers uses her background as a classically trained violinist to create vibrant, bassy house grooves. After landing a single, “Selectress”, on Noizu’s Techne label in 2023, the Los Angeles based artist has had shows at Exchange LA and on festival stages. Her sets weave crisp percussion with melodic elements, influenced by artists such as ODESZA and Kyle Watson. Catch her on Saturday at the High Tide stage.

Guru Reza
Guru Reza infuses LA’s underground with a sound he calls “Sexy Haus,” a blend of terrace-inspired deep and minimal tech. Releases on labels like Nervous, Insomniac Records, and most recently, Rawsome Deep have earned him spins from DJs like Jamie Jones, The Martinez Brothers, and Marco Carola. He recently launched his own label, SubLove Recordings, to spotlight emerging talent and has plans to drop new music on Lee Foss‘ North of Neptune and Skream‘s label IFEEL later this year. You can find Guru Reza on Saturday at the Deep End stage.

Lauren Lane
Lauren Lane first discovered house music on New York dance floors before moving to Los Angeles. Her rolling grooves have landed on labels like Edible, Saved, and No. 19, all while recently launching her own label, Recreation, in 2024. Lauren has also played sets at Coachella, BPM Festival, and Glastonbury, and she frequently appears at ANTS and Jamie Jones’ Paradise parties in Ibiza. Lauren is playing on Saturday at the High Tide stage.

Fun2BJANE
Los Angeles-based artist FUN2BJANE brings what she calls “sass house”, a blend of house, techno, trance, and breaks to her sets. Going back to back with Mad Gavs at this year’s Day Trip Festival, the duo also performed at EDC Las Vegas in 2024. FUN2BJANE holds frequent residencies with LA brands Sensory Signal and Incognito, throwing her own parties in SoCal and is often playing at Sound Nightclub and beginning to expand nationally, with a recent show at Mood Ring in Brooklyn. Catch her going back-to-back with Mad Gavs on Sunday at the Deep End stage.

Matt Guy
In 2022, British producer Matt Guy had a breakout moment with Pete Tong’s Essential New Tune, a huge piano house track titled “Set My Mind Free.” The track was later played frequently by artists such as Solomun and Gorgon City at the time. Since then, Matt has released music on Adam Beyer’s Drumcode label, with the track “Give Me What I Want.” Day Trip Festival is part of Matt’s debut US tour, where he will perform on the Deep End stage on Sunday.

Ky William
Few are as active in the US house scene as Ky William. The Brooklyn-based DJ, producer, and founder of Andhera Records can often be found touring across the country or holding production workshops in New York. With releases on labels like Solid Grooves and Mele’s Club Bad, Ky brings a diverse sound. Having performed at festivals and venues such as Space Miami and Sound Nightclub, he’ll be playing on the High Tide stage on Sunday.
