The Do LaB is fresh off one of its most successful editions of Lightning in a Bottle to date, and they’ve already revealed the dates and on-sale information for 2026.

The Do LaB has paved the way for independent festivals to thrive within a market deeply saturated by big money and corporate entities. Their annual party in California, Lightning in a Bottle, has become a home away from home for many in the scene searching for an experience off the beaten path. This year’s successful weekend in Lake Buena Vista continued that trend less than two weeks ago, and now that the dust has settled, the Do LaB is setting its sights on 2026.

Lightning in a Bottle will return on May 20-24 next year, and those planning to attend will want to act fast to secure passes at their lowest price point. The presale for a limited number of passes kicks off on Friday, June 6, so make sure you register in advance.

Details on pricing for the upcoming edition remain a mystery, but Lightning in a Bottle is anticipated to have GA, VIP, and VIP+ options available, all of which include free camping. Past years have also featured paid camping options—from standard Car Camping and RV passes to Group Camping and the Atlaswyld Campground—which are sure to return in 2026.

Despite living in a world where seemingly everything is more expensive, the Do LaB has introduced a new payment plan for 2026 to finance your festival pass over 12 months, with monthly payments as low as $31. This option is only available during this Friday’s pre-sale.

The lineup for Lightning in a Bottle is still months away from being revealed, but if this year’s edition was any indication of what they’ll book in 2026, you can expect plenty of magic on the dancefloor. This year’s lineup included massive sets from John Summit, Four Tet, Sultan + Shepard, The Blessed Madonna, Claude VonStroke, Tape B, and more. And that’s just one aspect that makes this festival great, as there’s plenty to explore, from workshops and activities to vendors and art installations. Stay tuned for more updates.

Attendees of previous editions of Lightning in a Bottle will have first access to tickets and camping passes via the loyalty presale on June 6 at 10am PT. Those who register and didn’t attend this past year will have access to the presale at 12pm PT that same day. Will we be seeing you at Lake Buena Vista for Lightning In A Bottle 2026?

Logan Garrison

It was a decade ago that Logan Garrison, better known as DJ Lo_G, first took the stage to spin sets for crowds in the snowy towns of Lake Tahoe and Aspen. Originally spinning sounds in the realm of glitch and bass music, he began to develop a passion for all things house as he returned to his hometown and hasn’t looked back since. Over the years, DJ Lo_G has become a fixture in the Aspen nightlife scene as he has found a home at Belly Up and regularly warms up the stage for some of dance music’s biggest artists like The Chainsmokers, Chris Lake, Slow Magic, Nora En Pure, and most recently ZHU. Joining the EDM Identity team back in 2018, he’s dug even deeper into dance music and the festival scene. Whether he’s covering events like Mysteryland and shows in Aspen, interviewing artists like Hannah Wants, and reviewing fresh releases, his passion for the entire community shines throughout.
