Brooklyn Mirage has thus far called off or postponed every show since its scheduled reopening. This list will be updated as additional events are canceled.
The Brooklyn Mirage became one of the most controversial outfits in New York City nightlife when it canceled its grand reopening party after repeatedly insisting that it would go on as planned. To make matters worse, every event slated to take place at the venue has been called off or postponed since then.
What went wrong? All signs point to poor planning. Now-resigned Avant Gardner CEO Josh Wyatt shared lofty ambitions to remodel and revitalize the Mirage in December — but as its first show of the year approached, fans speculated that the build wouldn’t be finished on time. When they canceled the first show of the year, Avant Gardner promised that the venue was “show ready” and all that had stood in their way was a “final inspection” — but photos of the space taken later that night tell a different story.
We’re now well into what was supposed to be The Brooklyn Mirage’s 2025 program, and the venue still has yet to open its doors to the public. What follows is a running list of its scheduled events that have been canceled or postponed that EDM Identity will continually update in step with new developments.
A Running List of All the Canceled Brooklyn Mirage Shows in 2025

Sara Landry – May 1-2
Hard techno it-girl Sara Landry was slated to play the grand reopening of the Brooklyn Mirage on May 1-2. On Instagram, Landry said that she was informed of the cancellation around the same time Avant Gardner announced it publicly, mere hours before the event was slated to begin.
All ticket holders were refunded, and Landry moved her May 1 performance to the Knockdown Center in Queens. When the May 2 show was canceled the following day, the Knockdown Center accommodated Landry for a show that evening as well as one in the afternoon on May 3.

Loud Luxury and Cloonee – May 9-10
The following Thursday, The Brooklyn Mirage announced on Instagram that Loud Luxury‘s show on May 9 would be postoned to August 2. Cloonee‘s event on May 10 took place at the Brooklyn Storehouse, with all tickets purchased through DICE rolling over to the new venue.

The Martinez Brothers and Anjuna25 – May 16-17
The Martinez Brothers were also forced to relocate their May 16 headline show to the Brooklyn Storehouse. Then, Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep announced that it would refund all ticket holders for its May 17 Anjuna25 event at The Brooklyn Mirage, announcing a series of separately ticketed events for that weekend in a number of NYC venues.

The Chainsmokers and Excision – May 22-25
In the days leading up to its Memorial Day Weekend events, The Brooklyn Mirage announced on Instagram that none would go on as planned. Noting that they “were praying we wouldn’t have to write this” in an Instagram Story, The Chainsmokers shared that their events there on May 22-23 would be postponed to August 7-8. Meanwhile, Excision announced that his May 24-25 shows would postponed to July 17-18, and that tickets would remain valid unless the holder chooses to obtain a refund.
On May 22, when The Brooklyn Mirage’s Memorial Day Weekend programming was scheduled to commence, Avant Gardner announced that Josh Wyatt would no longer serve as CEO of the company. Replacing him was Gary Richards, the HARD Events and Friendship founder who also performs as a DJ under the moniker Destructo.
