Insomniac’s beloved mascot, Eyecon, has gone missing after an apparent heist occurred at Hotel EDC last night. Its whereabouts are currently unknown.
Last night, a heist occurred in the evening in Las Vegas. Unlike Ocean’s Eleven, it wasn’t a team of professionals targeting the bank vault of a major casino—it was seemingly one man who had his sights set on Hotel EDC instead.
According to sources on the ground in Sin City, a man pulled up to Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, the site of Hotel EDC, last night and told staff that he was there to pick up Eyecon. Insomniac’s mascot, which proudly sat in the lobby of Hotel EDC and warmly welcomed ravers into their EDC Week experience, was promptly wheeled out of the hotel and loaded onto the idling U-Haul.
Where the U-Haul was headed from there is anyone’s guess, but Insomniac is on the hunt to get to the bottom of Eyecon’s disappearance and solve this mystery once and for all. If you have any information on where Eyecon may be, don’t hesitate to get in touch with [email protected].

Eyecon became the mascot for Insomniac when the brand switched to its new logo a decade ago. It has been prominently featured in various products, from collectible figurines to keychains, and has also found a home at the brand’s flagship festivals, including Beyond Wonderland, Escape Halloween, Nocturnal Wonderland, and Electric Daisy Carnival, all over the world.
The disappearance of Eyecon during this apparent heist is an unexpected twist after a fantastic weekend at Hotel EDC that was filled with standout pool party performances, plenty of fun activities, and more. Stay tuned for our full coverage from the weekend!
