Chris Lake Scores Red Rocks Headline Debut

Chris Lake has landed his debut headline set at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. He’s bringing Chris Lorenzo, Aluna, and Marco Strous along for the ride.

If you’ve listened to house music over the past decade and a half, you probably have heard of a legendary producer called Chris Lake. The storied veteran has implemented his irresistibly danceable sound in ways nearly no other producer has achieved while checking off an extensive list of benchmark gigs.

From the massive back-to-back with Fisher for last year’s Under Construction takeover on Hollywood Blvd. to unforgettable festival appearances at Coachella’s Day 0 campground party this year, Chris Lake is seemingly everywhere at once. Yet, one crowning achievement has alluded him until now: Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado.

Not for long. Chris Lake will take the stage at the iconic venue on Saturday, August 30. Despite his seemingly endless list of accomplishments in dance music over the years, this will be the storied producer’s headline debut. Fans will gather between the two unmistakable monoliths that make up Red Rocks to dance the night away to fan-favorites “In My Head” featuring Amber Mark and soon-to-be summertime anthem “Ease My Mind,” along with countless other hits spanning his storied career.

Fellow Black Book Records mainstay Chris Lorenzo will directly support the show. Lorenzo has worked alongside Lake for years, including carrying half of their ever-popular Anti-Up project. Also joining the Red Rocks festivities will be Aluna, who brings her unique blend of high-vibrational house music and sultry, instantly recognizable vocal work. Rounding out the openers is Marco Strous, who is quickly solidifying himself as a force to be reckoned with amongst the biggest names in house music.

Pre-sale tickets for Chris Lake’s Red Rocks debut go on sale Wednesday, May 7, at 10am MT via the Red Rocks Website. General on-sale goes live Thursday, May 8, at 10am MT. Will we see you on the Rocks?

Logan Garrison

It was a decade ago that Logan Garrison, better known as DJ Lo_G, first took the stage to spin sets for crowds in the snowy towns of Lake Tahoe and Aspen. Originally spinning sounds in the realm of glitch and bass music, he began to develop a passion for all things house as he returned to his hometown and hasn’t looked back since. Over the years, DJ Lo_G has become a fixture in the Aspen nightlife scene as he has found a home at Belly Up and regularly warms up the stage for some of dance music’s biggest artists like The Chainsmokers, Chris Lake, Slow Magic, Nora En Pure, and most recently ZHU. Joining the EDM Identity team back in 2018, he’s dug even deeper into dance music and the festival scene. Whether he’s covering events like Mysteryland and shows in Aspen, interviewing artists like Hannah Wants, and reviewing fresh releases, his passion for the entire community shines throughout.
