LSZEE (LSDREAM + CloZee), Zeds Dead, Dr. Fresch, Detox Unit, OPIUO, Boogie T.rio, The Sponges, and more are playing Same Same But Different this year.

The Southern California festival scene has been shaken up immensely since Same Same But Different (SSBD) kicked off its run in 2018. Since then, this weekend-long experience has become the talk of the town for many who were hunting for quality music and unreal vibes off the beaten path. This year has already seen Same Same But Different drop some major news—the launch of the IndepenDANCE Pass and Wonderfully Different Pass initiatives—but today, the focus has returned to the end-of-summer gathering in Lake Perris with the lineup reveal.

Each Same Same But Different lineup has been highly curated, and that runs deep for the upcoming edition on September 26-28. Headlining the festival are LSZEE (LSDREAM and CloZee) and Zeds Dead, along with special guest Dr. Fresch. All three are sure to deliver dynamic sets, giving attendees everything from wonky bass to house grooves and everything in between.

Joining those artists is a laundry list of other talented acts on the first phase of the lineup. This includes phenoms like OPIUO, The Sponges, Łaszewo, ALLEYCVT, MEMBA, Detox Unit, DJ Susan, Shima, SoDown, and Boogie T.rio. Not to mention others, including Wonkywilla, Sam Blacky, Know Good, Auracle, Mantra Sounds, Parkbreezy, Yoko, DJ Dials, Distant Matter, Abby Normal, and Baby Kush, among others. And that’s just a taste of what’s to come, as more artists will be announced in the coming months.

Beyond the music, Same Same But Different offers plenty for its community to explore. Whether you want to check out some immersive art installations, expand your mind by attending a workshop, grub down on some food, participate in arts and crafts, or bask on the beach, this festival has you covered. Stay tuned for more details on this year’s offerings in the coming months.

Those heading to SSBD have several options available for their experience beyond the standard GA pass. The VIP pass grants access to a special lounge that features a hosted happy hour, shaded areas with misters, premium air-conditioned bathrooms, premium views, and more. If you want to party in style, the Limitless Pass enhances your weekend with access to the exclusive backstage Limitless Lounge, a front-row viewing area, and a side-stage viewing deck, among other top-tier amenities.

Camping is included with all pass types, but keep in mind that you will need to purchase a separate pass if you plan to bring a vehicle. Car Camping, RV Camping, and Group Campsites will be available alongside general parking passes. There are also on-site Glamping options with fully equipped sites, as well as on-site RV Rentals for those who want a seamless trip.

The presale for tickets and camping passes for Same Same But Different will occur on Thursday, May 1, at 9am PT, with the general sale starting at 11am PT that same day. Head to the official website for more details and to make your purchase if you want to experience all the magic that this festival has to offer.
