Although Super Progressive might be most renowned for his podcast, he’s shown off his skills behind the decks with a spring mix teeming with quality tunes.
While many DJs started as musicians in other genres or by picking up the decks, Super Progressive’s journey has been different. Turn back the clock to 2021, and you’ll find William Noglows, the man behind the name, taking his first steps into the wider world of electronic music. He wasn’t initially spinning on decks or toying around in the studio. Instead, his approach was through an interview-fueled podcast that was launched with the intention of educating the masses.
Since then, the Super Progressive podcast has grown immensely, especially on Instagram, where the account has amassed over 100,000 followers in just a few short years. The core of this series is his conversations with legendary artists and forward-thinking fresh faces, all of which explore the past, present, and future of progressive house music. Guests have included the likes of Danny Tenaglia, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Danny Howells, Dave Seaman, Yotto, Ezequiel Areas, Quivver, and, most recently, Paul Van Dyk.
Super Progressive’s success has led to the emergence of branded shows in London that have sold out, as well as gaining a nod as a brand partner for Balance Croatia this summer. That isn’t all, as he’s flexed his skills behind the decks along the way. Not only has Super Progressive warmed up the stage for talented artists in the progressive house realm, but he’s also hosted a residency at Manchester’s Progmatic event series and played Skyline in Glasgow.
Now, Super Progressive is welcoming in the warmer months of the year by spinning a mix for our Spring Sound Waves series. After you cue it up, read on to see what he has to say about each of the tracks in the mix.

Mattim – Poles Apart (Abity Remix) [Mango Alley]:
“Mango Alley is without a doubt one of the most consistent labels in the progressive underground scene, and when I got the Augmented compilation promo, I knew I wanted to include this track to kick off the mix. Excellent remix from Abity, and Mattim is one of my favorite rising talents.”
FJL – Alter Ego (Original Mix) [Proportion]:
“Love this track. I wanted to have an upbeat, energetic mix, and this track kicks the mix into gear early on.”
Andrea Cassino, Lio Q – Shintaro [Traful]:
“Really deep, groovy track with some nice celestial vocals. For me, this track solidified the vibe of the first third of the mix.”
Benya feat. Damian – Electric Love (Waxman Extended Remix) [Maralyzed]:
“One of the few tracks that sounds completely different to other progressive tracks out right now. I love the squelchy synth. It sounds like the synth has been unleashed or unchained. It rips.”
Futura City – Psyka [Mango Alley]:
“Futura City is the breaks alias of Maze 28, who is one of the most consistent producers in the progressive scene right now, and he knocks it out of the park with Psyka.”
Jeff Ozmits & Miguel Ante – Dance Of Eternity [UV]:
“Jeff and Miguel both rep the Chicago scene, and I felt like the melody made this track an obvious inclusion.”
D-Nox & Stereo Underground – Space Fly [Sprout]:
“My track of the year so far. A remake of Space’s Magic Fly from 1977 that perfectly belongs in 2025. Stereo Underground is a hell of a producer.”
Jesuan M – Keep My Letters [Suza Records]:
“One of my favorite rising talents out of Argentina. I wanted the mix to build up to a positive, melodic, energetic moment, and this track delivers that.”
Agustin Chadez – Sampling (Tanuus AR Remix) [AH Digital]:
Nice, groovy way to end the mix, and I am a huge fan of Tanuus.”
