Other than dates and location, details around Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival’s 2026 return remain scarce.
Over the past two years, Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival joined a long list of dance music festivals that got called off amid challenging market trends. Soundslinger has now shared plans to bring the gathering back to its Sunshine Grove property in South Florida from March 19-22, 2026.
“Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival is back and better than ever in 2026,” reads a statement on the event website. “This long-awaited return will feature an electrifying lineup, immersive art, and four days of pure magic under the stars at the breathtaking Sunshine Grove. Get ready for an unforgettable experience as you dance and reconnect with the spirit of Okeechobee — because the wait is finally over!”
The last successful edition of Okeechobee took place in 2023 before organizers shared plans to take a fallow year and bring the event brand back to its roots. That year turned into two, with Soundslinger sharing that “some extra time will allow us to deliver a better festival experience.”
Okeechobee was by no means the only festival brand to hit a rough patch in recent years. Dirtybird Campout, Imagine Festival, Sonic Bloom, Sunset Music Festival, Envision Festival, and Backwoods at Mulberry Mountain were but a few that either took a year off or paused indefinitely. Most cited rising costs and lower spending among the typically coveted 18-24 demographic as factors in their decisions.
Soundslinger has yet to share any details of the Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival 2026 lineup. Previous editions of the festival have billed artists like RÜFUS DU SOL, Tipper, Vampire Weekend, Tame Impala, ODESZA, GRiZ, Kaskade, and Bob Moses.
