CRANKDAT, Level Up, Odd Mob, and SLANDER b2b SVDDEN DEATH are set to perform at Forbidden Kingdom this May.
There are no shortage of two-day festivals curated by Insomniac, but Forbidden Kingdom has established itself as the perfect opportunity for fans of dubstep, drum and bass, and other bass genres to kick off their summer in the right way. This year, the gathering is returning to its home at the Orlando Amphitheater at the Central Florida Fairgrounds on May 30-31.
The medieval-inspired bass music festival generated lots of excitement for the 2025 edition when it dropped its phase 1 lineup back on February 24. Now, the highly anticipated phase 2 lineup is here, and bass music fans are in for a treat in light of the lineup’s four newest additions.
Joining the lineup are SLANDER b2b SVDDEN DEATH. While SLANDER are known for their melodic dubstep, this epic b2b promises to be a festival highlight, infusing SLANDER’s highly emotional, melodic dubstep classics into SVDDEN DEATH’s signature aggressive, darker sound.
Headbangers eager to break their necks won’t want to miss sets from heavy dubstep producers Crankdat and Level Up. The former artist is a trap music heavyweight with hit singles like “Wobble” and “STFU.” The latter has rapidly ascended through the ranks of dubstep after studying battle turntablism under the hip-hop DJ Rob Swift.
The final name added to the phase 2 lineup is an unexpected one. Odd Mob, which started out as a duo and now consists solely of Brisbane-based artist Harry Hope, promises to add a heaping helping of bass house to the festivities.
GA, GA+, and VIP two day passes are on sale now starting at $168.31 including fees. Head to Forbidden Kingdom’s website to find more information about the festival, explore hotel options, and purchase passes via SeeTickets.
