The scene is buzzing with the news that Insomniac and Tomorrowland are joining forces to create Unity, a new experience at the Sphere in Las Vegas this year.

Insomniac and Tomorrowland have long been at the top of the festival food chain. Over the past two decades, both brands have become renowned for creating immersive experiences for electronic music lovers, bringing huge festivals, satellite events, and more to life all over the planet. While some might see the two as competitors who have battled year in and year out, this week has seen Insomniac and Tomorrowland shock the community with their recent announcements.

Earlier this week, Insomniac’s Instagram channels posted a picture of the Tomorrowland mainstage with the festival’s motto, “Live Today, Love Tomorrow, Unite Forever.” At the same time, Tomorrowland posted the EDC Las Vegas mainstage with its motto, “All Are Welcome Here.” This caused a flurry of comments from everyone, from artists to fans, and even Pasquale Rotella himself, questioning what was happening. A second post arrived yesterday teasing a potential collaboration further, and today, it was finally revealed that Insomniac and Tomorrowland will be teaming up for a new experience called Unity.

A quick teaser video posted to both brands’ social media accounts features EDC Las Vegas’ signature owl interacting with Tomorrowland’s butterfly before washing through different settings from past editions and other festivals. As the camera pans out, it’s clear that the viewer is peering into a globe, which then transforms into a sphere for the final seconds before “Insomniac x Tomorrowland Unity” flashes.

The caption indicates Insomniac x Tomorrowland present UNITY is a new experience from these two behemoth brands. Keen eyes on social media saw that the Sphere quickly commented on the post. Since publishing, it has been confirmed to be hosted at the futuristic venue in Las Vegas via the official social media pages for the event. Those planning to attend can mark their calendars for August 29-31.

The official website offers a taste of what will be in store for those making their way to the Sphere later this summer. Attendees can expect to travel through Tomorrowland’s Planaxis, Adscendo, and Orbyz realms, along with Insomniac’s worlds, including Beyond Wonderland, Nocturnal, Escape, Countdown, and EDC. This multi-sensory experience will blur reality and feature a stunning soundtrack with hand-curated tunes, orchestral and electronic instrumentation, and a special guest for each show date.

The presale for Ticket + Hotel Packages kicks off on Thursday, March 27 at 10am PT/18:00 CET. The Unity Ticket presale will then take place on Monday, March 31 at 10am PT/19:00 CEST.
