“HQ hears you & is here for you,” reads the first slide of a post on Electric Forest’s Instagram account.
“New year, new me” posts are all the rage among festival brands as of late. Electric Forest is taking a page out of Elements and Project GLOW‘s proverbial books by sharing plans for improvements and upgrades as its organizers gear up to return to Rothbury, Michigan from June 19-22.
Electric Forest posted an Instagram carousel today after revealing more than 40 new names on the festival’s 2025 lineup yesterday. “HQ hears you & is here for you” reads the cover slide, followed by another that promises upgraded sound systems at the Honeycomb and Observatory stages.
After that, organizers announce that festivities will run longer on key days of the gathering. Music programming will extend until 4am on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and a late-night silent disco on Main Street is a new addition that will appeal to those looking to keep the party going well into the wee hours.
Electric Forest 2025 will also be marked by an increased number of restrooms throughout the festival footprint. Not only that, but new harm reduction and mental health resources will be available to attendees, and each camping area pod will have its own ground control station.
Speaking of which, the carousel concludes with a slide that promises a location for group camping that’s closer to the main areas. It also mentions Camp Wayfinder, a group camp specifically dedicated to revelers riding solo.
Electric Forest started out as Rothbury Festival in 2008 and gained traction for its unique blend of mostly EDM and jam band bookings. Thanks to a 2024 Rothbury Council meeting, the gathering has been cleared to return every year through 2035.
Tickets to Electric Forest 2025 are currently on sale starting at $600 for all four days. Purchases can be made via AXS, and additional information is available on the event website.
