Electric Forest can never simply release its lineup in one fell swoop. Organizers of the Rothbury, Michigan festival slated for June 19-22 announced the first batch of 2025 billings in December, and they’ve now followed up with more than 40 new names.
A glance at the headliners by day reveals that Brazilian house music artist Vintage Culture will perform on Thursday, and Canadian duo Zeds Dead has been added for Saturday. Also, Australian tech house class clown FISHER has been moved from Saturday to Sunday.
Further down on the graphic for the Electric Forest 2025 lineup so far are Arizona DJ and producer Avalon Emerson, Detroit singer-songwriter Mike Posner, UK drum and bass superstar Sub Focus, and France-born, Miami-based act Dombresky under his Disco Dom side project. 1991, AHEE, Basstripper, Culture Shock, Infekt, Wreckno, Saxsquatch, and Taiki Nulight are some of the other artists slated to perform at the four-day gathering.
They join the likes of Liquid Stranger, Justice, Tiësto, Sara Landry, and The String Cheese Incident, all of whom were announced in the initial lineup reveal. If this year’s promotional schedule is similar to that of last year’s edition, a third and final bunch of headliners will be announced sometime in late spring or early summer.
Electric Forest, which inaugurated in 2008 as Rothbury Festival, made a name for itself with lineups that largely balanced EDM and jam bands with pop and hip-hop artists thrown in for good measure. Last year, the event had its permit approved through 2035 on the other end of a Village of Rothbury council meeting.
