CRSSD Festival Spring is next weekend, and we’ve put together a list of must-see artists that you need to catch while at the festival.


For house and techno enthusiasts, the biannual CRSSD Festival in San Diego stands out as a premier event that impresses year after year. Nestled in the heart of America’s Finest City, the boutique festival put on by FNGRS CRSSD offers an unbeatable setting, with its spring and fall editions typically selling out.

As CRSSD Festival Spring prepares for its return to Waterfront Park March 1-2, anticipation is high for what is sure to be another unforgettable weekend. The fall lineup is stacked with talent, offering everything from the high-energy sounds of FISHER, Chris Lorenzo, and Justice to the pulsing techno of Hannah Laing, Innellea, and Nicole Moudaber b2b Anfisa Letyago. The After Dark parties will also extend the festivities well into the night at venues across the city.

This Scottish producer rinses a wide mix of techno, trance, and hard dance in her sets for a show that stands apart from others. As the head of her label, doof, she pays it forward to budding talent by featuring their music on the fast-growing imprint. With her first-ever festival, doof In The Park, slated for this summer in Dundee, and a plethora of international shows on the horizon, Hannah Laing’s rise to the top will be quite the treat to watch.

If you’re looking for dreamy soundscapes to get lost in, Monolink has you covered. This multifaceted singer-songwriter incorporates live instruments and his own soulful vocals into his sets for an enriching listening experience. Being immersed in dance music from a young age, Riordan started DJing at 15 and learned music production by the age of 17. Through working at a TikTok-focused music marketing agency, he realized the power of social media, honed his content creation skills, and began sharing his work across platforms. He quickly created buzz around his music, quit his job to pursue producing full-time, and hasn’t looked back.

Now, with a signature sound blending UK garage, modern tech house, and ’90s house, he’s earned support from heavy hitters like Dom Dolla and has performed as festivals worldwide. Schedule him into your set times as he’ll be making his CRSSD debut on Sunday at The Palms.

FEMME HOUSE label head LP Giobbi has solidified her place in the house music scene. Known for incorporating live piano into her groovy rhythmic sets, her treasured releases like “Can’t Let You Go” with Little Jet, “Feel” with Jacob Banks, and “Believer” with hermixalot stand tall among the music of her peers.

2024 saw LP Giobbi gallivanting around the world, performing in 20 countries and spending a majority of time on the road for one of her best years yet. You can experience her live when she touches down in San Diego on Saturday at Ocean View.


ARTBAT

ARTBAT, comprised of Ukrainian producers Artur Kryvenko and Vitaliy “Batish” Limarenko, never fail to take listeners on a journey through mesmerizing sonic realms. Through atmospheric layers with magnetic baselines, ARTBAT’s melodic, techno-leaning tracks always deliver. Since launching onto the scene a decade ago, the duo have caught the attention of industry leaders such as Armin van Buuren, David Guetta, and Pete Tong.

With the addition of their imprint Upperground launching in 2021 and events for the label happening around the world, ARTBAT’s reach stretches far and wide. As they take the stage on Sunday at City Steps, prepare to leave your worries at the gate and get lost in their ethereal frequencies.

Claptone brings the ultimate party wherever he performs. With his infectious house beats and melodic rhythms intertwined with his mysterious identity, it’s easy to let loose and become transfixed by his sound. While being a fan of dance music since she first heard deadmau5' "Ghosts 'n' Stuff" in middle school, Hannah officially started attending EDM events and festivals in 2015 and hasn't left the scene since.
