G Jones, Anna Morgan, Ternion Sound, The Glitch Mob, Justin Martin, Mr. Carmack, and more are set to play Bass Coast this year.
Bass Coast has continued to reign supreme as one of the best festivals to attend in North America. Whether you’re a fan of dubstep, drum and bass, and other bass styles or want to experience the intimate, culture-forward atmosphere unlike any other festival, you can find a home there. Attendees have dubbed Bass Coast as a true transformational festival, and those who want to immerse themselves in its magic can do so again this summer when it returns to Merritt, British Columbia, on July 11-14.
While many components make Bass Coast a dream experience for many, including workshops, art, activations, and more, the music is one of the biggest aspects that drives this festival forward. This year they’ve put that front and center by delivering one of the most highly-curated lineups to date that features some of the most forward-thinking artists in the bass scene and more.
Mind-melting artist G Jones sits atop the lineup for Bass Coast this year, and he’s sure to deliver an incredible performance that shouldn’t be missed. He’s not the only one playing, though, as a laundry list of additional talent will turn your head. On the bass side of the spectrum alone, there are artists like The Glitch Mob, Ternion Sound, Mr. Carmack, The Librarian, and The Funk Hunters, along with phenoms like Anna Morgan, Cesco, and Player Dave.
Adding some house intro the mix are Justin Martin and Nala, who both still pack quite a punch with their grooves that hit you right in the chest and make your feet move. Further, artists who will surely throw down some heat include fun-loving duo SkiiTour, the ever-dynamic Sally C, UKG act Conducta, and Latin bass meets techno artist Rosa Pistola, among others.
This is just the first helping of artists who will make their way to Canada this summer to play Bass Coast, with more to be announced in the coming months. Stay tuned for those to be revealed, along with the workshops, activations, and more. And don’t forget that this year’s theme is “Wild Things,” with the intent to transform forgotten aspects of the past into today’s new creations.
Tickets and entry passes that will allow you to arrive as early as Wednesday are on sale now. Camping options are currently sold out, but there is a waitlist available. Head to the official Bass Coast website for more details and to make your purchase.
