Project GLOW Shares Plans for Improvement Ahead of 2025 Event

“New Year. New GLOW!” reads the first slide of an Instagram carousel outlining Project GLOW’s strategy to turn over a new leaf in 2025.

Every festival is a work in progress — but if breakdowns leave a bitter taste in the mouths of too many attendees, organizers must go above and beyond to earn back their trust. Project GLOW has shown a willingness to listen, learn, and iterate by sharing plans for how they intend to address a handful of concerns ahead of the 2025 edition of the Washington, DC festival.

“You asked, and we delivered,” reads the caption of an Instagram carousel in which the team behind Project GLOW outline their 2025 agenda. It covers four key areas of improvement: cooldown stations, VIP perks, the event site, and weather.

“But wait,” you’re likely asking, “what can Project GLOW do about the weather?” Organizers are taking a page out of EDC Las Vegas’ book — but in reverse. As previously announced, the festival will be moved from April to May 31-June 1 in an effort to avoid rainstorms.

As for the festival footprint, it will encompass a larger area in 2025. “This will be our biggest year yet!” wrote Project GLOW’s organizers. “We’re giving you more room dance with a larger festival map!”

Cooldown stations will be fitted with better shade structures and misters, as well as additional water refill stations. Lastly, Project GLOW’s organizers promise “Enhanced VIP,” but the carousel notes that they will share more details about what that will entail at a later time.

Project GLOW is not the first festival to take this approach when met with negative attendee feedback. Elements Festival shared a similar response after inclement weather and logistical breakdowns overshadowed its 2024 edition.

More information on Project GLOW 2025 can be found on the official event website.
