The Escapade Music Festival 2025 lineup is sonically diverse enough to include The Chainsmokers, Subtronics, Gorgon City, and Above & Beyond.
Genres mean little in 2025, and the Escapade Music Festival lineup perfectly captures the outlook of EDM fans today. The artists slated to perform at this year’s edition of the festival at the RA Centre Grounds in Ottawa from June 20-22 don’t fall neatly into a specific creative range. All that they have in common is that they’re major names.
On the bassier end of the spectrum, superstars like Excision, Liquid Stranger, and Subtronics are sure to deliver heaping helpings of the lower frequencies, with the lattermost artist’s Cyclops Records hosting a stage takeover. Jessica Audiffried is another bass music artist slated to play — as are Level Up and Kompany, who will play back to back together.
Fans of fixed-beat sounds will delight in seeing the names of artists like Green Velvet, Kaskade, Gorgon City, MORTEN, and Patrick Topping. Not only that, but trance titans Above & Beyond will take the stage, and their Anjunabeats imprint will host a stage takeover billed as Anjuna25.
Those artists are but a glimpse of the cross section of EDM that is the Escapade Music Festival 2025 lineup. The Chainsmokers will bring their fusion of pop and electronic to the gathering. Deathpact will deliver a dose of mind-bending midtempo bass. Kygo will play out cuts from his eponymous, tropical house-infused 2024 album. Each of them account for but a thread of the brilliant sonic tapestry that is electronic music.
Escapade Music Festival, which first took place in 2010, previously took place at Landsowne Park. Last year, organizers were forced to call off the third day of the gathering due to heavy rain. The festival is celebrating its 15th anniversary in part by relocating to RA Centre Grounds this year.
