This year’s edition of Forever Midnight is approaching, and we’ve compiled a list of wildly fun and groovy artists you won’t want to miss this New Year’s Eve.
It’s finally here. It’s the end of the beautifully destructive, devastating fever dream of a year known as 2024. To close it out properly, house and techno fanatics will bid adieu to 2024 while dancing into 2025 at the Los Angeles Convention Center on December 31 for Insomniac’s Forever Midnight.
Forever Midnight invites a hearty selection of rising and veteran talent from the house and techno scene to groove to, and this year is no different. Enticing locally-celebrated artists to globally-recognized artists set to play this year’s edition include Adam Beyer, Jamie Jones, Tiesto, Chris Lake, and Duke Dumont on the lineup, making it no wonder the event is creating a lot of buzz in the LA scene.
This lineup is the type where it’s so delicious that it might be a bit overwhelming at first glance. To ease some of the stress behind building the nightly itinerary, we’ve curated a list of top picks that should be on your radar.
Tickets for Forever Midnight are on sale now via Front Gate. Keep reading for the full selection of can’t-miss artists.

To see DJ Minx and CINTHIE on a New Year’s Eve line-up is a gift that we’ve earned after a disorienting year of chaos. These two artists will be blessing Forever Midnight with a b2b set. This one is bound to be not only a reminder of the need for female representation in dance music but also a lesson in house and techno 101.
DJ Minx and CINTHIE are pioneers of the rave scene and are known for their formidable waxing skills, backed by a vast knowledge of the history and culture of electronic music. Whether this is your first rave rodeo or your 500th, swing by the Take It Outside stage for a needed slice of electro herstory.
Cherry Lee
Los Angeles-based Cherry Lee is a trailblazer in the burgeoning “new rave” era. Sometimes sour, sometimes sweet, Cherry Lee landed in the LA underground scene and immediately took it by storm. Her refusal to play by outdated rules and her uncanny ability to read a room and brew the perfect vibe is why she’s an artist you definitely won’t want to miss.
Cherry’s sound can’t be defined into a single category, a growing trend among rising artists. Her range spans from house to trance to happy hardcore, but if we’re lucky, we might get a Berlin techno set to sweat to. No matter the genre, it’s guaranteed to be a rave of a time. Catch her at the Take It Outside stage and get ready for a certified healing session, courtesy of Cherry Lee.
Baby Weight
I hesitate to call this next artist the “cutest” on the lineup because what she does behind the decks is anything but. Baby Weight may appear to be a sweetheart, but be warned: she’s an absolute weapon when it comes to crafting a groove.
Baby Weight is a key player in the necessary representation of dance music’s queer origins and a needed fresh perspective on the definition of house music. She’s a genre-bending enchantress of sorts. Her sound can be defined as a blend of house, tech house, trance, pop, and dance music. She’s also not one to shy away from a mash-up or two.
She’s a house music pixie dusting her infectious vibe upon the crowd. It’s impossible not to feel unparalleled levels of happiness watching this diva. Don’t miss Baby Weight at the Take It Outside stage.
Sama’ Abdulhadi
Sama’ Adbulhadi is a Palestinian DJ and producer and a highly respected artist in the male-dominated techno scene. To put it lightly, she’s a techno powerhouse. Sama’ lives and breathes techno music, and it’s clear in her onstage presence and performances. Her authenticity and devotion to the dance music community are refreshing in an increasingly capitalist industry.
Her sound is about as techno as it gets. Without a doubt, she’ll be delivering a relentless set that will leave your entire body vibrating, if not levitating. Catch Sama’ at the Take It Outside stage.
Lilly Palmer
This might be one of the last opportunities to see Lilly Palmer in an accessible setting. The techno pixie has somehow managed to remain relatively underground in the US despite having well over a million Instagram followers and a fully booked international touring schedule to match.
Her sound has always been rooted in techno, but over the past few years, she’s taken on faster BPM, dipping her toes into the trance and business techno arenas. Lilly knows how to get a crowd moving, and her vibrant energy is a joy to witness—groove with her at Stage 2, hosted by none other than Factory 93 x Club Space.
