Kygo and Myles Shear’s Palm Tree Crew lifestyle brand has announced the opening of Palm Tree Club in Miami’s North Bay Village.
Ten years ago, the name Kygo was virtually synonymous with the tropical house style popular at the time. That uplifting spirit looks to live on in the Norwegian DJ and producer’s new venture, Palm Tree Club, a hotel and restaurant set to open Saturday, December 21.
Palm Tree Club is the brainchild of Palm Tree Crew, an entertainment and lifestyle brand founded by Kygo (real name Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll) and his manager, Myles Shear. They partnered with hotel management group Think Hospitality and real estate developer Continuum Company to open their new establishment.
The 115-room hotel and restaurant will occupy a space once known as Shuckers Waterfront Grill & Hotel, preserving Miami modern-style architecture that dates back to the ’70s. Art deco interior designed rooms, a 20-slip marina, and, of course, live music and cultural event programming add further value. BLOND:ISH and Jamie Jones performed at the venue earlier in December, and it will close out the year with a show headlined by Jungle on December 31.
“We’re thrilled to launch Palm Tree Club and introduce our hospitality offering to Miami,” said Shear. “This is a new chapter for our brand, and it’s all about blending the energy of live events with the laid-back spirit of this historic waterfront retreat.”
“We see Palm Tree Club as more than just a hotel; it’s a destination where creativity, culture, and community intersect,” said Palm Tree Crew CEO Michael Diaz. “We want to offer guests an experience that blends the best of Miami’s coastal lifestyle with a unique touch of Palm Tree Crew magic.”
Palm Tree Club looks to be the first of many hospitality ventures spearheaded by Palm Tree Crew. Founded in 2020, the brand has thus far been involved with live events like Palm Tree Festival as well as talent management and influencer partnerships.
