Forbidden Kingdom will return to Orlando on May 30-31 with a new upgraded realm that features improvements to the venue and more.
Florida might be home to many festivals that have stood out among the competition, but few have stood quite as tall in the bass realm as Forbidden Kingdom has. This two-day experience has found a home at the Orlando Amphitheater at the Central Florida Fairgrounds and has continued to bring the heat with larger-than-life lineups and Medieval-infused production.
Next year, Forbidden Kingdom will return to the venue for another round of fun in the Florida sun on May 30-31, and there will be some upgrades in store. The most recent iteration of the festival left many attendees calling for Insomniac to either shift the festival dates to when it’s cooler or enhance the venue to keep everyone cool. The behemoth promoter has listened to those calls by not only moving the festival back a week but also by announcing that there will be upgrades to the venue for a more comfortable experience.
Announced enhancements to the Forbidden Kingdom grounds include additional misting stations, a shade structure at The Village Stage, and more shaded seating zones. The Forbidden Stage will also receive improvements, including fans that will be installed inside the structure to keep air circulating, along with new modifications to the structure to allow for better airflow. More upgrades and additional details, including the lineup, will be announced in the coming months as Forbidden Kingdom continues “to rebuild and reimagine thy kingdom.”
Along with today’s announcement is news surrounding the upcoming presale, which will kick off on Wednesday, November 20. Those who sign up for updates via the Hive will be granted access to the sale.
All remaining tickets will then become available during the general sale, which is set to take place on Thursday, November 21 at 12pm ET. Head to the official website for more information.
