Breakaway Music Festival is set to accept cryptocurrency as a new payment method at their 2025 festivals.
Crypto enthusiasts now have a new way to secure their spot at events from one of the largest festival brands in the nation. Breakaway Music Festival has unveiled its plans to accept cryptocurrency as a form of payment for its 2025 festivals, solidifying its position as a forward-thinking organization.
Music fans with cryptocurrency can now purchase festival tickets, Ultra VIP bottle service, and more for any of Breakaway Music Festival’s 12 editions throughout the country that are slated for 2025. This is not the first time the festival has taken advantage of technological trends. The festival played a large role in bringing the first blockchain-powered music festival, Our Music Festival, to life in 2018 alongside Justin Blau, better known as 3LAU.
We’re excited to expand our offerings and embrace the future of payments by accepting cryptocurrency at all of our 2025 festival dates. Along with new payment options, Breakaway is also entering new markets as it prepares to bring the traveling music festival to six new cities. The 2025 season will start with the launch of Breakaway Dallas. Other cities hosting the festival for the first time include Phoenix, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Huntsville, and an undisclosed city in Northern California, which will be announced in the coming months.
