DJ Pee .Wee (AKA Anderson .Paak), Noizu, Odd Mob, Mary Droppinz, Azzecca, and more have been added to the Fresh Start lineup this year!

While Southern California has drawn plenty of attention from house and techno lovers looking to get their fix to close out 2024, something special has been brewing up in the northern part of the state. Fresh Start, The Midway’s annual New Year’s Eve soiree, is looking to continue its epic run of standout experiences with its upcoming editions on December 31 and January 1. The initial lineup kicked up plenty of excitement with news that Charlotte de Witte, Cloonee, Chris Lake, ZHU, and more would be headlining the festivities.

Today, more artists have been revealed in the second phase, all of whom will turn some heads. DJ Pee .Wee (AKA Anderson .Paak), GG Magree, Mary Droppinz, and Odd Mob have been added to the New Year’s Eve lineup, along with rising acts including Chocolate Sushi, Friendly Fire, Shay De Castro, Rylan, Techno Tupac, Neumonic, and more. New Year’s Day also packs in additional artists, such as Aliizen, Don Fuego, Goshfather, Chango, JLittle, and Kazami, among others.

That’s not all that The Midway has in store for those attending Fresh Start. The new 888 Garage stage, which is a 1,000-person capacity warehouse venue across the street, is also set to host some remarkable performances. New Year’s Eve will see the space transform into Club Techne, with Noizu headlining and Lucati, Dem2, and Londen Summers playing in support. Then, Electroluxx takes control of the stage on New Year’s Day, bringing Azzecca, Annicka, Nardi, and Rush Hour along for the ride.

While the beats are sure to be the biggest draw for Fresh Start, this experience offers more, from immersive art installations to culinary treats from food trucks and The Midway’s executive chef. Past iterations have featured plenty of surprises, so keep your eyes peeled for more updates on what’s to come at this year’s block party.

Two-day and single-day GA and VIP passes for Fresh Start 2025 are on sale now. Head to the official website to make your purchase, and stay tuned for additional announcements for this year’s edition!
