Consisting of 25 weekly episodes, Ultra Miami’s 25th Anniversary will explore the annual dance music mecca that is Ultra Music Festival in Miami.
Ultra Music Festival‘s organizers want you to be as hype about its 25th anniversary as they are. At the beginning of October, they shared a Phase 1 Lineup announcement sure to turn heads from all across the dance music continuum. Now, they’ve kicked off a docuseries called Ultra Miami’s 25th Anniversary that will air weekly until next year’s edition of the gathering touches down at Bayfront Park on March 28-30, 2025.
The first episode of the series aired on October 7. Titled “Open the Gates,” it offers a glimpse of festival-goers’ first impression when they set foot in Ultra for the first time, met with the larger-than-life production for which the event brand has grown synonymous.
The next episode goes by the name “That First Ultra” — and aptly so, as it sees a number of artists share what it was like to perform at the festival for their first time. The third, “All Eyes On You,” follows Dutch duo W&W as they prepare for “one of the most electrifying performances of their careers,” according to a description.
The rollout for next year’s landmark 2025 edition of Ultra Music Festival started with the announcement that Anyma and Solomun would grace the bill, performing a back-to-back set together for the first time in their careers. Other notable artists billed for the gathering include Charlotte de Witte, Martin Garrix, Miss Monique, 999999999, and Subtronics.
